S. B. Barnes received a degree in literature and anthropology from a small liberal arts college in upstate New York. No murders took place during her studies.

She then moved to Germany, got a teaching degree, started teaching, and decided to write books as well because it just wasn’t stressful enough.

 

Now, she has written several series and keeps jotting down new ideas in between planning classes, editing her last projects, and telling the cats that they really did already have dinner and they can’t fool her no matter how hard they try.
