Two for Roughing is coming on September 15th, 2026!

The book follows Kilian Howard on his journey from mediocre center on a team he doesn't feel welcome in to rising star in a struggling franchise, and the first ever NHL hockey player to speak out publicly about...well, you'll see.

Opposite him stars Damir Denisov, only a few years older but already jaded. He doesn't think speaking out about anything would do him any good, so he's never tried. Instead, he finds stress relief in cooking, housekeeping, and some far less wholesome hobbies he never thought he'd find someone to share with in America.

This book is the fourth and final entry in the Minor Penalties series--though some characters may reappear in later books. Eagle-eyed readers have already noticed the blink-and-you'll-miss-it connection between the Minor Penalties books and the Hudson Valley Murder Mysteries. Phil's brother Elijah gets the job vacated by Amelia Lawrence due to her untimely death. My next series, tentatively titled "Teachers & Tropes", features a few Minor Penalties cameos!
